ReCPBG:  Final Meeting of RY 2015-2016

Hafa Adai Rotarians,

A warm welcome to our visitors and friends of the club.
We begin our meeting with Rotary’s Four-Way Test:
Is it the Truth? Is it Fair to all Concerned? Will it build Good Will and Better Friendships? Will it be Beneficial to all Concerned?

As Rotarians, we are reminded of the Object of Rotary: The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster: (1) the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service; (2) high ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society; (3) the application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life; (4) the advancement of goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

MEETING:

This is our last meeting for the RY 2015-2016. June is Rotary Fellowships Month – this is a time when we recognize the importance of international fellowship and goodwill among Rotarians with similar interests to promote increased participation in fellowships and increase understanding of this program.

On June 3rd, the Rotary E-Club of Pago Bay Guam celebrated our 2nd Charter Anniversary. We also inducted our board members for RY 2016-2017. Our club was honored to have ADG Secretary and Incoming-President of the RC of Northern Guam Wayne Santos and a special guest, Incoming Chair of International Services Committee RC of Tokyo Nihonbashi Yuji Morimoto join us at our event.

Thank you to our outgoing board members: President Annette Santos, VP Kristina Sayama, Secretary John Rivera, Treasurer Zeny Nace, Treasurer-Elect Goody Rosario, Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Sayama, Vocations Director Karen Tydingco, and Past President Ron McNinch.

Our incoming board members are: President Kristina Sayama, VP Christopher Cruz, Treasurer Karen Tydingco, Treasurer-Elect Joshua Perez, Sergeant-at-Arms Roland Santos, Fundraising & Public Relations Director Zeny Nace, International and Community Service Director Ron Aguon, Vocational and New Generations Committee Director Ron McNinch, and Immediate Past President Annette Taijeron.

Our outgoing board and our incoming board have already started working together to make the necessary transitions for the start of the new Rotary year. We are very excited of how far we have come and look forward to the fellowship and engagement in the new year.
